James Rollins Web Presence (Version 2)

I was asked to reinvent James’ Web presence, to create a more engaging and robust destination for information. The site is a beast, consisting of more than 400 pages, book pages available in multiple languages, a responsive user experience, media, and exclusive hidden content for his vast community of fans. A massive suite of custom admin tools was developed to control almost every aspect of the site, architected with Wordpress and Pods. In addition, as part of the effort, a re-branding was also undertaken; resulting in a new logo and by extension a refresh of other online/offline collateral/communication elements. James Rollins is the author of the bestselling Sigma Force series (Sandstorm, Map of Bones, Black Order, The Judas Strain, The Last Oracle, The Doomsday Key, The Devil Colony, Bloodline and The Eye of God); six individual adventure thrillers; the blockbuster movie novelization, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; Tucker Wayne Series, The Sanguines Series, Jake Ransom series, The 6th Extinction, and others.

A LEGACY OF RESTLESS CREATIVITY

I have stayed busy, restlessly creating one thing or another. This "Black Hole" section showcases some of that legacy. There is a lot here. Best grab a glass of scotch first and then come back and dig in! As far as digital goes, I have spent the last 20 years creating websites and have been a part of hundreds of projects in various capacities, including UX, Design, Front-End Development, Back-End Development, Biz Dev, and more. FILM/TV

My music has been used over the years in film and television. Chances are you've heard my music and didn't know it. Additionally, I used to work as an actor when I was a kid and have been on TV a few times in different series. This section compiles some of those credits along with any projects related to movies and/or tv. For fun, I also re-score film trailers and scenes from time to time. Since the Black Hole is just for my credits, those little experiements can be found in the "Eye Candy" or "Blahg" sections.

GAMES

I wish I had more time to actually play them...but at any rate, browse this section for projects I have been a part of which related to games of all kinds, console or otherwise.

OTHER CREDITS

This category is a smorgasbord of random other things. Music Videos, Promotional Videos and miscellaneous credits. Consider for a moment that I started out in the early 90s working with my Father doing large-scale murals, set backdrops, restaurant graphics, and all sorts of things. I carried on doing this after my father was hired on at Disney, adding my own clients and continuing to work with some of his until 1998 when it was clear the days of hand-painted things and vinyl were over and it was time to start focusing on digital. Paint is somewhat a lost art but it sure is fun to work with.
